5 Days Left ! and some updates!

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

Just wanted to update you on a couple
things here at Icelantic.

First, our website is still not up –
as I’m sure you have noticed. We have a
temporary catalog there for now while “our people”
are putting the finishing touches on the new one.
It should (fingers crossed) be up and running this week.
It pains us just as much as it does you.

Second, we will be closing the offer for
First Tracks this Friday, so if you’ve been
contemplating joining, buying a pair of Icelantic’s
or getting involved in something totally
out of the ordinary to spice things up a bit,
I’d HIGHLY recommend signing up today.

I’m so excited to get this thing rolling –
and I think you all are too! I’ve been
absolutely blown away by the response this far,
the collection of people is quite electric!

Also – I’d like to extend an extra special
invitation to all you wonderful women out there –
because right now, it’s lookin to be a bit out numbered.
Plus, we have some pretty exciting things planned for you
that we’d love input on!

Happy Tuesday to you. Check out this link if
you’re ready to invest in your happiness ;-) .

First Tracks bring pure bliss. Yum.

Enjoy,

Annelise

P.S. We just received our new shipment
of clothing for this season and the results are SWEET!
Really nice work Sam. You’ll be able to see
them all as soon as the website goes live.

P.P.S. If you’re around the Denver area this
Friday night, please swing by the Icelantic Gallery
and join us as we unveil the 2009-2010 line to the masses.
There will be free beverages, live music,
stimulating art and awesome people –
if you haven’t made one yet – this is the one to make!!

Technical Difficulties

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009

Thanks to the FLOOD of response I got in response to
First Tracks, our server experienced a bit of a glitch and was
temporarily unable to process any payments.

Many of you have written, informing me of this,
so I just wanted to let you know that it is being
corrected as I type and it should be up and running,
ready to accept payment within the hour.

This is sooo exciting. We are honored and humbled
by the response thus far.

Keep em’ coming! Let’s make magic!

Pray to the Snow (and Cyber) Gods,

Annelise

The Beginning of Something Powerful.

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

The Beginning of Something Powerful.

So, here’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for….

Since I started writing this newsletter last year,
I have gotten to know several of you through email correspondence.
Many of you have and love Icelantics, some of you
are deciding on your first pair, others simply
enjoy the writing, but ALL of you love skiing.
And I feel it when I read your words.

There is passion and excitement for the coming season.
There is endless inquiry into what Icelantic
has cookin this time, hordes of input on
ski design and construction, feedback and suggestions
on the year’s graphics and best of all, stories.
Testimonials charged with magnetic zeal and
vibrating with excitement – and every time I feel this,
I think, “We’ve got to get these people together.”

So, as I am a strong advocate for the idea of getting like-minds together to create magic, I am thrilled
to introduce to you:
Icelantic’s First Tracks: The Inside Edge on skiing,
business, adventure, art, passion and creation.

First Tracks is an exclusive community dedicated
to people like you, who have devoted a little (big ;-) )
piece of your heart to skiing, and a whole chunk of it
to a better life.

Since this is our inaugural season for First Tracks,
our focus is to listen to and work with you to
create a seriously mind-blowing foundation
for years to come.

You are who we want to synergize with and as the great
Napoleon Hill once said, “No man can become a
permanent success without taking others with him”

Let’s make it happen! Click here to learn more: http://www.icelanticboards.com/firsttracks

Sincerely,

Annelise

P.S. Since this is our first run with this,
we are limiting it to 50 people. So if this
sounds like something that you would really enjoy
being a part of (if your heart perked a bit at the
thought of it) sign up NOW.
Grow with us! ;-) Welcome.

P.P.S. Happy Fall! It snowed in the
Rocky Mountains last night – perfect start to
what is going to be our best season yet!

I lied…..

Tuesday, September 15th, 2009

I know, I know…. Last week I told you that
I was going to be releasing something to you
and it didn’t happen :-(
Don’t worry, it’s coming – the release date is set
for September 22, the first day of Fall –
so be sure to look for an email from me
with the subject line: First Tracks.
I am pumped on this puppy – can’t wait to share it with you!

Also, the website. Yes, the launch date was set
for today and that obviously didn’t happen.
We are sooooo close – but there are a few
final touches that need to be done before it’s
worthy of your eyes.
So, the proposed launch date for this is
now Monday the 20th.

These two highly anticipated projects are
in the hands of the mighty Cyber Gods –
and as many of you are familiar with
the Cyber Gods, sometimes storms happen
and things are delayed.

But sit tight – it will be well worth the wait.

And thank you for your persistant inquiries,
I’m chompin
at the bit too!!!

Colorado’s peaks are white now!

It’s coming,

Annelise

BIG NEWS……..

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

Thought you’d like to know that as of today,
Icelantic is the “Official Ski of Colorado”.

We were approached by Colorado Ski Country USA
this January to be a potential partner –
along with some other MAJOR players in the
ski manufacturing biz…

So, for the past 7 months, it’s been neck and neck,
little guy v. giant, new v. old,
independent v. not-so-independent…
and guess who got it?!

Apparently Colorado Ski Country liked
the way we do things ;-)

Woo Hoo!!

Below is the official release.
This would not have happened if it weren’t
for your enthusiastic support and involvement
in the evolution of our dream – Icelantic.

So for this, we say THANK YOU – from the bottom of our hearts!

You are Wonderful.

P.S. Stay Tuned for an EXTRAORDINARY offer that
I will be releasing later this week.
This is the real meat…. I mean REAL meat.

*****PRESS RELEASE*****

COLORADO SKI COUNTRY USA ENTERS PARTNERSHIP WITH ICELANTIC BOARDS

Companies Share Excitement as Ski Season Draws Near

Denver, Colo. – September 8, 2009 – Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) and Icelantic Boards announced today that they are teaming up in a new partnership. Icelantic will become the official ski partner of Colorado Ski Country USA and will sponsor the popular Colorado Gems Program. The Colorado Gems Program showcases a group of nine Colorado ski areas that offer discounts, including free skiing and other benefits, through the Colorado Gems Card.

“Colorado Ski Country resorts are known for their commitment to providing premiere skiing experiences, which make our state the top choice of places to ski,” CSCUSA’s president and CEO, Melanie Mills, explains. “Icelantic shares that same commitment by providing the highest quality skis, made in Colorado, which is why we are thrilled to partner with them. Underwriting the Gems Program in particular creates the perfect synergy, since the Colorado Gems ski areas and Icelantic represent home-grown Colorado at its finest.”

Icelantic’s founder, Ben Anderson, shares Mills’ excitement, explaining, “Colorado Ski Country is a commanding force in the skiing industry and we’re proud to be supporting their efforts all around. Plugging our new line of locally-made premium skis into promoting the diversity of Colorado Ski Country’s resorts will solidify Icelantic’s reputation as the premier Colorado ski maker and further cement Colorado’s place as the top destination for skiing and riding.”

The partnership brings the best of Colorado skiing together, with CSCUSA’s 22 member resorts offering world-class skiing and Icelantic offering hand-crafted skis designed and manufactured locally in Colorado. The agreement comes just in time for the approaching ski season as well, with skiers starting to think about purchasing new skis and about the new adventures awaiting them in Ski Country USA.
