Team Icelantic Wins Eye of the Condor 2

This just in, Team Icelantic has won Best Video in the Eye of the Condor competition this year!!

The team, consisting of all females (Kaylin Richardson, Alex Taran, Rebecca Selig, and Annelise Loevlie) had 7 days to film in La Parva, Chile. This was the result, they won “Best Video” in the competition!

It all started as a vision…

If Benny were on the PGA tour would he rock the knee high argyle socks as gracefully as Payne did?? I THINK SO!!!!!

From what began as a vision, turned into the Icey Open!! After an amazing Inaugural year, we are excited to invite you back for a Golf Challenge talked about on a global platform. On August 18^th, 2012 we will be hosting the most exciting, value packed, and fun filled golf challenge to date. This tourney will be a day FULL of friends, family, biz community, and beyond coming together for competition and fun on the Links. The tourney will be held at the World Famous Evergreen Golf Course in Evergreen, CO. This course is known around the globe for elk. That’s about it.

Here is everything you need to know about the 2012 Icey Open

Who:

Icelantic, Something Independent, Volcom, Electric, Ink Monstr, Jiberish, JammyPack, Oskar Blues Brewery, Denver Pizza Co, Boone Mt. Sports, Olde’s Garage, Vans, Pro Tek, Stoney’s Bar and Grill, The Wildflower Café, Evergreen Golf Course, and you!!!

What:

The 2nd Annual Icelantic Open. This shotgun start Scramble will feature prizes and contests on every hole, with a GRAND PRIZE for the winning 4-some. We will be accepting 36 teams of 4. This tourney was created as a way to connect with our AWESOME family, friends, and community during the summer. Let’s face it….We have the BEST family and friends on planet Earth. There is no better way than to pull everyone together 18 holes of fun.

When:

August 18^th, 2012. Shotgun start begins at 8 AM Sharp.

Where:

Evergreen Golf Course. Evergreen, CO.

Why:

Duh.

We are so pumped to connect with all of you in the summertime on the Lynx. Evergreen is our hometown, and the Golf Course in Evergreen has been embedded into our lives for as long as we can remember. We have teamed up with some of our best friends in the snow, beer, food, and lifestyle industries to pack this tourney full of fun and prizes. Every hole will feature a new contest with a chance to win sweet prizes. Prizes Range from a new pair of Goggles for next season, to Beer-for-a-Year at your favorite watering hole.

SPRING SALE!!

Hi there!

Spring has sprung, and you know what that means?? This Saturday April 7th, starting at 10am, everything that’s been hiding in our basement, warehouse and offices will go out the door. We’re talking skis, apparel, splitboards, Giclees, poles decals, maybe even an old demo tour grill (or maybe not).

Everything from years past will be on sale (and we mean on sale!) – some reaching back to the first years in business, and some as new as this year’s Gemini split-board!

This is the first time we’ve done something like this and we wanted you to be the first to know about it.
Saturday is supposed to be beautiful, so grab your friends, family and swing by on your way to weekend adventures – maybe pick up a new toy or two!

Also a great opportunity to check out the Icey World HQ if you haven’t done so yet!

Big Air Style iPhone Game (ft. Leigh Powis)!

Hi all pow friends!!

We hope you are enjoying your winter!!! We’d like to let you all in on something that we have been working on with a local software developer for a sweet iPhone freestyle skiing game!!!

Icelantic and its top pro skier, Leigh Powis, are being featured in a new game for the iPhone from StoneRaven! “Big Air Style” is the freestyle skiing game you’ve all been waiting for! Ski up and down hills, go big and do tricks stylishly to earn points. The game features beautiful backgrounds and a range of freestyle tricks like the Rodeo and Cork 720. The game also includes real time weather -if it’s snowing in Breckenridge, Colorado, it will snow in the game! Original music was composed by Bay Area musician Yung Mars and are some sweet beats! Games come in two flavors, Free and Full versions. The free version contains one level, two tricks and one music track. The Full version and upgrade contain 4 tricks, 5 levels and 12 music tracks.

So when you can’t hit the powder in real life, you can at least hit it up on your iPhone in this sweet game!
